Customer in the spotlight: De Steeg
‘Dorpscafé de Steeg in Haarsteeg in Brabant is a beautiful village initiative, in which the residents of the village, together with some entrepreneurs and the municipality, bought up the last catering establishment to maintain village and club life.
A place to celebrate and experience, party and connect. In 2019, after a hefty refurbishment, during which many villagers had their hands in the air, we could for the first time really celebrate carnival our village pub De Steeg.
As manager of the café, I thought it would be a nice idea to celebrate with a real Steeg emblem. This caught on so well that we decided to design a new carnival emblem every year and sell them at carnival. They have become real collector's items and adorn many jackets and smocks.
